Eye-Catching Posters – Nothing Like a Dame

In this poster I am again enjoying the high contrasts between the red, black and white. This is the type of poster that would stop me in the street. One of the things that works well in this poster is the use of diagonals in the layout. The visual hierarchy in this poster with the text exists as the eye immediately goes to the word “dame” because it is so larger and white on a red background. The the eye travel to the phrase “Nothing Like a” because it is the next largest in size and is again contrasting the black and the white. I think the txt is incorporated well into the image and the entire poster is very unified.
